OUR MISSION

Beach Launch Team aims to provide a professional environment where CSULB students can learn and get hands-on experience with rockets. Materials learned in classroom settings are extremely important, but students are often limited by lab experience provided by the courses. BLT provides industry-relevant experience to students interested in pursuing a career in engineering.

Beach Launch Team aims to be the first university rocket team to launch a liquid bi-propellant rocket to the Karman line -- the edge of space. Through research, design, development, and lots of testing, BLT strives to create functional rockets while educating members outside of the classrooms.

BLT members are dedicated, motivated, and determined students with a shared goal of launching liquid-fueled rockets while developing skills towards their future career. With time and hard work, BLT will be the first liquid-fueled rocketry team in space!
